The Adventure Begins

Guile and a team of Street Fighters are sent to find a missing team of scientists, who were trying to find a cure to some new kind of super-virus which has the capability to wipe out all human life on the planet. The Street Fighters must also find out who took the scientists and why.

<Ragey> more like cuntson cockad am i right lol

A standard street fight is happening in a warehouse between everyone's favourite dog-tag wearing Street Fighter, Guile, and some other punk called the "Crimson Crawdad". Everyone watching the fight seems to hate Guile, and believe that he abandoned his troops in Shadowloo, but Guile states that they shouldn't "believe everything they hear" and then proceeds to defeat his opponent with a well placed Sonic Boom. During this fight, someone tries to smash a chair over Guile's head, but Guile avoids it and grabs the chair, noticing that the chair has the initials "S" and "F" on it.

So Guile heads off to some secret meeting point, opening a door which has a special panel (why on earth does it need a d-pad? Does it open if you do a quarter circle forward or something?) and meets Escher, the Street Fighter units mission guy, who explains to Guile that he is needed on a mission to save some scientists and stop a virus from destroying everything. Guile picks Chun-Li to go with him on the mission, but isn't happy that Ryu and Ken are also going to be available for this mission.

Meanwhile, Ryu and Ken are already there, and are involved in some fool-hardy scheme. They're trying to find some temple which Ken believes is full of treasures they can steal, but they don't know where it is after losing the map. Ryu gets rammed by a boar, unknown to him that it has just spread the virus on him. Ryu wants to give up and leave, but Ken manages to convince him to stay one more day and if they don't find the temple after that, they'll go.

Ryu and Ken just happen to meet up with Guile in a store near the docks. Chun-Li shows up and the Street Fighter team start searching for the scientists. They come across some sort of computer the science team used, which has to be repaired. They manage to fix it up and gain some information from it, and Guile seems to recognize one of the team members.

At the temple, Bison troops capture a bunch of locals, much to the disgust of Blanka, who is locked up in the temple itself. The locals are all taken prisoner and are taken away via hover jets, before Blanka can help them. After screaming and growling a lot, Blanka finally decides to escape and smashes into the iron bars at the window of his cell, smashing them and letting him out.

At Bison's temporary camp, he explains to the captured science team that they have to find a cure to the virus, and are not working fast enough. He puts the captured locals into a room with a bomb in it, which will explode in 12 hours if a cure is not found. The bomb contains the virus, which will cover everything in the room and most likely kill the locals quickly.

Guile and the others are still trying to find where the scientists are, but suddenly Blanka attacks. After a short struggle with Guile they recognise each other and stop. Blanka wants to know where his "brothers" are, referring to the locals we saw get captured earlier. Guile doesn't know but he reckons that Bison is the man behind it and asks Blanka to help them, and he agrees.

Chun-Li notices that Ryu and Ken have suddenly vanished, but Guile decides to go on without them anyway. Ryu and Ken have gone to the temple after Blanka mentioned it earlier, and Ken uses the brilliant logic that the locals won't be needing the treasure anymore because they've been captured by Bison, so it's theirs for the taking. Ryu doesn't agree with this but then collapses, the virus kicking in.

Guile and co. start the assault on the camp, and beat up the guards pretty easily. Chun-Li finds the scientists and frees them, but one is still missing. Bison has her and starts to destroy the science team's supplies, but Blanka suddenly shows up before him and starts to fight him.

Blanka uses his cannonball attack to known Bison down, but Bison uses a remote to change the bomb timer from 11 hours to about 10 seconds. Blanka quickly rips the door off the bomb room, allowing the locals to escape, then grabs onto the bomb, which explodes and covers him in the virus.

Guile challenges Bison, but Bison simply moves him out the way with a magnetic blast. Bison then takes off in his hover jet, but not before Guile manages to grabs onto it. After trying to shake him off, Bison uses his powers again to snap off the part Guile is holding, forcing Guile to fall, whilst Bison finally gets to escape.

<Ragey> Ken is a thieving little dick in this episode. Is that normal?

Breaking his fall by grabbing onto a branch, Guile eventually lands on a Shadowloo armoured car, which Ken has stolen. Ken tells Guile that Ryu is really sick, and they meet up with Cindy again. Cindy tries to help Ryu, but says that there probably isn't anything that she can do for him and that he will almost definitely die.

Blanka seems to be in distress, and everyone thinks he is about to die, but it really turns out that he is OK. After Cindy does a check on him, she finds out that Blanka's blood contains anti-bodies which are destroying the virus, and that she can now use this information to create a cure to stop the virus from spreading and save anyone infected by it so far. Later on Guile asks Blanka to join the Street Fighter organisation, whilst Cindy leaves in a helicopter with the rest of the science team.

<Ragey> best buds 4 life

Ryu and Ken appear and Ryu thanks them for saving his life. Ken says that they should all stay as a team, even though he really just wants to travel around the world. Blanka then decides to also join the Street Fighter organisation, and that's the end of this legendary first episode.

This episode seems to relate to the live action movie. I haven't seen the movie for a very long time, but I'm sure that Blanka and Dhalsim died in it as they didn't escape the base and were not seen in the very last shot with the majority of the rest of the cast. However, Blanka is alive here (Dhalsim shows up later on too) so they must have survived. Blanka was also Guile's friend and in the army with him before Bison mutated him, just like in the movie.

This is also shown through the fact that Ryu and Ken are going around being con-men and being involved in a lame treasure hunting sub plot, also like in the live action movie. Ryu, however, doesn't really seem to be into it, and seems to just follow Ken around in this episode.

Gotta love Guile's reasoning in this episode. Escher says that the team can be supplied with any weapons they want, but Guile says that "guns are for wimps" and doesn't take any. Later on, when they attack the camp, instead of kicking a guard, he kicks the gun out of his hands and says "guns are a no-no", then lets the guard get away and set of the alarm! Brilliant!

Why is Blanka locked in a cell when we first see him? He later says that the locals are the ones that helped him calm down and gain self control, but they don't sound like very good friends if they just shove him into a cell and lock him in all day.
