The Beast Within

Guile and Lucinda are out looking for the missing Blanka, but the real star of this episode is the MAD plot twist.

Guile and Lucinda have travelled out to find Blanka after he went away a few episodes back. They find a tribesman guy who tells them Blanka had visited his tribe, and he told Blanka of a mystical plant which had the power of healing, so Blanka went off to find that. Meanwhile Blanka is tearing up the jungle looking for said plant, and gets angrier and angrier. He looks into a lake and talks about how he didn't use to look like this (seeing his reflection look like his human form we saw in "Eye of the Beholder"), and then hears someone yelling out and so goes off to investigate.

He runs out to find a village where someone is destroying statues with a sword. Blanka runs across and realises that the someone is just a boy, and he takes his sword off him. The boy runs off after pushing over a statue on Blanka, and then the villagers run out to see what is going on. Seeing Blanka with a sword, they think he is the one who destroyed their sautes and attack him.

Blanka starts to defeat all the villagers with ease, but a trap sends him falling into a pit. The villagers chain him up to a tree, and then discuss on what to do with him (kill him, basically) but as this is being discussed Guile and Lucinda show up and start to free him.

The villagers appear though and grab Lucinda, and then say that Blanka is the one responsible for destroying their sacred icons, but Blanka says it wasn't him. The chief guy we saw at the start of the episode says Blanka must meet his fate and later on send Blanka off in boat in a lake full of crocodiles. Before they send him off though one tribesman punctures the boat with his spear so the boat starts to sink as soon as it is set off. Meanwhile, Guile and Lucinda are tied up but Guile uses a knife to cut the rope and escape, taking out all the defending villagers.

The crocs close in and destroy the boat, Blanka swims downwards and they follow, but after some extraordinary luck with his chain, he swims back up and starts to take all the crocs out. Guile and Lucinda show up at the lake and take out the watching villagers.

Fun fact! Galvatron fumbled and the line went "Guile demands Escher to tell him if there is any way to cure Guile" so lol

Blanka leaps out of the water and threatens to throw the tribesmen leader to the crocodiles, but Guile and Lucinda convince him not to. As the leader says he'll still make sure Blanka will be put to death, the boy we saw earlier throws a snake down which wraps round the leader guy. Blanka and Guile pull it off, but the snake bites Guile and poisons him.

Blanka sees the boy and gives chase, whilst Lucinda takes Guile back to the village, where the tribesmen leader says that only the healing plant would be able to find him, but tells Lucinda not to go looking for it as it is in the sacred area and would anger the gods. Meanwhile Blanka is still chasing the boy.

The boy ends up falling into a swamp trap thing, which Blanka pulls him out of after the boy tells him that he was trying to hurt the tribesmen leader and his village, and not Blanka and Guile. The boy says that the villagers took away his mother and father, and so he takes Blanka to his home - and finds a SPACESHIP.

The boy tells his back story, and in the biggest plot twist since Cammy switching sides, we find the boy is a ALIEN who came to Earth in a SPACESHIP from ANOTHER PLANET. Their ship got hit by lightning as they travelled across the Earth, and they started to fall, crashed through a plane (everyone on the plane DIED too, the boy says this). The spaceship crashes and it's three occupants all survive and get out.

Part of the spaceship is broken and fuel leaks out and pours over a plant (turning into a super plant which can heal, which was mentioned at the start of the episode). The three aliens walk into the village looking for help, but the villagers attack them instead, MURDERING two of them (the boy's parents). The boy swore revenge against the villagers for their actions.

Blanka sees that the boy is like him, full of anger and hate, and tells him to try and control his rage. Lucinda suddenly shows up and tells Blanka that Guile will die soon unless this plant is found. The boy instantly knows what Lucinda is talking about and shows them the plant.

They make a medicine from the plant and take it to Guile, who immediately starts to recover after taking it. The villagers see Blanka again and chase after the group, so they split up. The boy takes Lucinda to his spaceship, which beings to glow with a light. The boy seems to know what this means.

It means that his fellow aliens have come to take him back home, but the boy says that the villagers who killed his parents still live, so he can't leave until he has taken his revenge. Blanka tells him that he has to go though and that the villagers will get what is coming to them some way. Guile recovers just as another spaceship arrives, and the boy moves into it's light and vanishes.

Lucinda suggests that they should take more of the plant, as maybe it could restore Blanka to his human self, but then the villagers show up and shower the area with flames, totally destroying the plants. The flame surrounds Guile, Blanka and Lucinda, but Guile throws a Sonic Boom to create a weird hole thing in part of the flames with the three leap through to get out.

The next day the three return to the village, only to find that the wind had shifted over the night and the flames had completely destroyed it. Blanka tells the tribesmen leader that his hatred caused his own downfall, which the leader agrees with and says that he will be more forgiving. Blanka says that through the boy, he has learnt to control his rage, and finally Guile gives up some last words to round the episode off. With Blanka's storyline finished off, we only have Cammy's left before everything is A-OK again!

Zaniest episode ever am i rite

I take it that Guile and Lucinda are back together again or something after the events of "Strange Bedfellows", since otherwise it's a bit weird how she just happens to kind of casually show up with Guile here and help him.

Despite Guile's last words, this is Blanka's last appearance in the show, you'd think that he'd be in the final episode, but strangely, he isn't. Guess the Street Fighters didn't miss Blanka that much after all. Jerks.
