The Hand That Feeds You
Guile, Ken and Ryu are on a assignment to Hong Kong to find out who is running a drug manufacturing plant, but struggle to find out any information. Until Fei Long shows up, that is. Also there's a rather silly sub plot involving Ryu trying to find his cousin.

What better way to start the episode than have Guile fighting Fei Long? Good vs. good?! Fei Long proceeds to dominate the fight and eventually throws Guile into the water. But the audience has been punk'd as it's actually a scene from a new film Fei Long is starring in.

Later on Guile meets up with Ken and Ken informs him that they haven't managed to make any progress on finding the drug makers somewhere around the area, even though Ken is just interested in woman, no matter how racially confused they are. The next day Ryu shows up, after being searching for his cousin. He managed to find out where she was last seen so Guile orders him and Ken to go check it out whilst Guile stays on the movie set.

Later on Ryu and Ken go to a harbour where Ryu's cousin was last seen and see a large truck pull up. Checking inside they find a lot of tied up prisoners who they start to free, but then a load of guards show up and Ryu and Ken are forced to surrender.

As this is going on we cut to a scene showing a shocking plot twist - Fei Long's movie director, Raymond Wang, is secretly the one leading the drug manufacturing plant with the help of the local kingpin. Meanwhile Guile isn't having much luck in finding out any information about the whereabouts of who makes the drugs and where, but then Fei Long shows up and offers Guile a deal; if Guile teaches him about the chi force (read: how to do special moves) then Fei Long will help him out in his mission.

Ryu and Ken reach the drug plant and are forced to work. The next day Ken makes a bid to escape by throwing a fireball and running for the gate, but Ryu sees his cousin,
Saicha, and stops Ken. They decide that they need to find a way to get all the prisoners out instead of just escaping on their own.

As this is happening Guile teaches Fei Long the skills to pay the bills. Fei Long says that he can't find out any information but they can try one last contact he has. Later on they visit said contact who hints that Wang is the one responsible. Fei Long doesn't believe the contact, Mo-Lin, at first, but then her restaurant is attacked. Mo-Lin says that she has said to much already so Fei Long goes to pay Wang a visit. Finding him, Fei Long says he refuses to work for Wang any more. Not even Wang's
noob-bashing talk stops Fei Long.

Back at the drugs plant Ryu and Ken find Saicha's cell and tell her that they are going to get everyone out. They then go to a communications room where Ken sends a signal to Guile. Guile gets the signal and know finally knows where to go. He thanks Fei Long for his help and says he won't be needed any more, but Fei Long convinces Guile to let him go too.

The next day Guile and Fei Long head out. They trick a guard and knock him out, and then Fei Long pretends to take Guile prisoner and leads them both inside. Meanwhile guards find a tunnel Saicha was building and try to have her killed, but Ryu and Ken show up again and take out a couple of guards. But then an entire firing squad appears. Fei Long and Guile suddenly attack and take them all out.

|
|
Ryu orders Saicha to get everybody together to escape and then helps Ken steal a truck. Ken rams the truck through the front gate, smashing it open, and then the prisoners run out.

|
Guile and Fei Long move inside a building and find the materials used to process the drugs, and start to destroy them. As they do this Wang shows up and tells Fei Long that he used the money made from the drugs to fund Fei Long's films, which makes Fei Long even angrier with him. One flying kick later Wang is defeated, whilst Guile throws a
Sonic Boom to knock out all the other guards in one hit.
|
|
|
|
Fei Long then starts a new move he's learnt, the Shin Kick, and uses it to destroy all the barrels in the warehouse, which of course then explode. Guile orders everyone to get out.

With the bad guys captured and the prisoners all saved, Fei Long tells us what he is going to do next, and then they drive off from the exploding drug manufacturing plant, whilst Ryu makes a awesome joke from a statement of Ken's.
No, of course Ryu doesn't really have a cousin, in the games at least.
This is the only episode where you can see Guile's tattoos. In the games, he has a tattoo of the American flag on each arm. This was usually missing from the animated series, but in this episode he has the tattoos in one scene for a few frames, and they flicker on and off as Guile moves.
For some reason, things have a yellow tone with them in this episode. When Ken throws a fireball, it's yellow instead of the usual blue. Also, Guile does a flash kick against some guards when he and Fei Long attack the drug plant, the flash is yellow. In every other episode, it's blue.
Another point is that when Ken throws his fireball, you can just about see his hands in it, like the games.
