Japanese and American animation differences

There were a number of differences between the characters in Japanese Headmasters compared to what they looked like in the US's fourth season (The Rebirth). Here's a quick guide to some of them:

AUTOBOT CLONES

The Japanese versions of these characters give them differently coloured heads and bodies, along with some other minor changes.

BRAINSTORM

In Japan Brainstorm was given a normal mouth, whilst in the US he had a face plate.

CHROMEDOME

The Japanese Chromedome has separate eyes along with a different looking face plate.

COUNTERPUNCH

Different head and chest, along with some different colours.

DECEPTICON CLONES

The Decepticon clones look quite different in Japan, such as them having separate eyes, different coloured bodies and other minor changes.

FORTRESS MAXIMUS

The US version doesn't even have a master sword so forget him.

PUNCH

I like Punch's Japanese version more simply because he's got a cool Optimus Prime style face plate. Yes I am biased.

SCORPONOK

US Scorponok seems to be missing his face protector thing that the toy had, plus his chest and other parts of him are different to what he looks like in Japan.

SIXSHOT

I think that Sixshot's eyes make him look much more evil in the Japanese version. In the US, Sixshot only appeared in part one of The Rebirth, and even then he was in it for less than half a minute, getting only one line to say.

ZARAK

I actually prefer Zarak's US appearance for once, I think he looks a lot cooler with his eye visor.
