Daniel Faces His Biggest Crisis Ever
| |
The Decepticons suddenly find that two unidentified flying objects are heading straight to their base. Seeing what appears to be
two jet fighters, the Decepticons believe that they are under Autobot attack and the Decepticon Headmasters rush outside and start shooting at the jets. The
two jets transform to reveal that they have animal modes, with one transforming into an ape and the other into a dragon.
Weirdwolf, Skullcruncher and Mindwipe start to fight these new foes but Galvatron comes along and breaks everything up whilst asking if they can't
tell friend from foe. And that is when the Decepticon Headmasters notice that these new guys have got Decepticon logos on their bodies. Galvatron introduces the newest recruits to the Decepticon army: Horrorcons Apeface and Snapdragon.

Counterpunch contacts Autobot HQ on Athenia and tells them about the new warriors in the Decepticon army. Chromedome and the others recognise them as they used to be allies of Zarak on planet Master, but they were captured and cast into space by the Autobots a long time a go. The Autobots then think about what Galvatron could be planning next. Whilst everyone is thinking, Spike steps forward and suggests something...
He wants to go and negotiate with Galvatron.

WTF SPIKE
Chromedome asks Spike if he is joking, but he isn't. Spike wants to discuss a joint energy production program between the Autobots and the Decepticons with Galvatron. The Autobots believe that there is no way this will ever happen but Spike says that something must be done as the Decepticons have already blown up
two planets and that the whole universe could be in danger if they continue. Fortress eventually agrees and sends a message to the Charr Decepticon base. Spike says that he will go as a neutral negotiator should Galvatron agree to come.
Galvatron receives the message but after reading it he believes that the Autobots must have gone out of their minds and throws the proposal away, telling Soundblaster that they won't even bother to respond to it and instead will just ignore it. However, Scorponok suggests that they could use this to their advantage and attack the Autobots on Earth, so Galvatron thinks it over.
Later on Arcee finds out that the Decepticons have responded and, rather surprisingly, agreed to meet up with Spike on Earth to discuss his energy production program. However, they have one condition: Carly and Daniel must also go to Earth with him, although it doesn't state why. Chromedome says that they will also go to Earth as guards and that they won't interfere with the negotiations.
The Trainbots assemble and pick up the Witwicky family along with
four of the Autobot Headmasters, and then depart for Earth via the space bridge. The meeting place is on a island in the South Pacific.
The Autobots arrive first but soon after they land the Decepticons appear, and Chromedome is concerned that Galvatron has bought a team of Decepticons with him. Galvatron then says that for the duration of this meeting, Carly and Daniel will be kept as hostages, and that if the Autobots do anything foolish, he hints in having the
two humans killed. Chromedome says that this was never part of the agreement but
Spike says that it is okay and heads inside a large building with Galvatron for the negotiations to begin.
The talks do not go well though since Galvatron wants all the energy whilst Spike is suggesting a join Autobot/Decepticon energy production program. Galvatron says that if Spike really is neutral then why does he live with the Autobots on Athenia instead of living on Earth, but Spike says that he is carrying out energy research on Athenia. Meanwhile outside the Autobots express concern on how quickly the Decepticons responded to Spike's message and how willing Galvatron was to go into talks.
Inside again Galvatron makes his one and only offer: he'll agree to Spike's program if he leaves his most important thing on Earth: his son, Daniel. If Spike agrees to this, it will prove to Galvatron that he truly is on a neutral side. Galvatron then says they'll take a short break and Spike can make a decision about what he is going to do.
Spike goes and finds the rest of his family and informs them on what Galvatron wants. Daniel can't believe it and says that he wants to stay on Athenia with his father and mother, but Spike says that if Daniel stays the energy production program will begin and the Decepticons will not attack the Earth again. Daniel eventually agrees to this and Carly says that she'll stay with Daniel on Earth as well.
Meanwhile on Charr Counterpunch is very surprised when Galvatron walks into the room! Galvatron starts to talk about how soon the Decepticons will take off into space and start to raid planets of their energy. Knowing that the Galvatron on Earth must be a fake, Counterpunch finds a safe place to hide and transforms into Punch, and then contacts Fortress on Athenia. Counterpunch tells him that the fake Galvatron is just their to distract the Autobots whilst the real one starts his real mission. Arcee contacts Chromedome and fills him in on the situation.
The talks continue and Spike tells Galvatron that he will leave Daniel on Earth as requested. Chromedome then bursts into the room and tells Galvatron that he can stop the act now, and Spike asks what Chromedome means...
...and that's where "Galvatron" reveals who he really is: Sixshot!
Sixshot warns Chromedome not to do anything as they still have Carly and Daniel, but in actual fact the other Autobot Headmasters have already gotten them out of harm's way. The Decepticons then start to fight the Autobots, with the new Terrorcons getting involved in the action by taking on Hardhead, Highbrow and Brainstorm.
Chromedome fights Sixshot for a brief amount of time, but Sixshot then throws a smoke bomb and retreats. Seeing how Sixshot has gone the other Decepticons follow him back to the Earth Decepticon space bridge so they can get back to Charr.
The Decepticons use the space bridge and return to Charr and the Autobots attempt to follow them, but are stopped due to Sixshot blowing the bridge up. And because of this, the Autobot space bridges on
Earth and
Athenia are also destroyed, preventing the Autobots from immediately chasing after the Decepticons as they start their planet raiding.
Galvatron gathers a large squad of Decepticons to board Scorponok, which then takes off and heads into space towards their first target planet.
Fortress heads to Earth and gathers a team of his own to go into space and chase after the Decepticons. Daniel begs to Fortress to let him go as well as he wants revenge on the Decepticons for what they did to his father, and rather stupidly, Fortress agrees. Later on the Autobots blast off from Earth and start to chase after Scorponok, brining the Autobot and Decepticon war into outer space.
The thing I don't understand is why is is that because the Decepticons blow up their space bridge, that the Autobot ones are also destroyed?
This episode also introduces us to two new Decepticon Headmasters, Apeface and Snapdragon, also known as the Horrorcons.
