Duel on the Asteroid

Scorponok has been damaged after being hit by many asteroids in the previous episode, and if the Decepticons don't stop for repairs, the Autobots will catch up with them before they get to Earth. They decide to land on a large asteroid in another asteroid belt, this one is between Mars and Jupiter. As repairs begin, Soundblaster tells the Decepticon Headmasters to come with him as something is approaching the Decepticons at high speed.
 

The object turns out to be Sixshot, who as we all know had an adventure of his own with Daniel just a few hours a go. Sixshot tells his welcoming party that he's going to go and talk to Zarak. As he enters Zarak's room, Zarak welcomes him back to the Decepticons with open arms and tells him to rest up as the final battle for Earth will be approaching soon. Sixshot leaves the room and Zarak's eyes glow and he starts to laugh to himself.
 

The Autobots arrive at the asteroid belt and Pointblank reports in saying that the Decepticons have landed on asteroid Pallas, and that they'll try to find out what they are doing. Before they can though the Decepticon Targetmasters appear and start shooting at them. Fortress tells Chromedome and the others to go out and help them, and they land the ship on another large asteroid before departing on the Trainbots.
 

The Targetmasters are cornered on another asteroid but thanks to the Autobot Headmasters arriving things even up. The battle doesn't last very long though as Sixshot arrives and tells Chromedome that it is time to settle things in a one on one duel on asteroid Julo tomorrow, and that one of them will not survive. Chromedome hastily accepts Sixshot's challenge, and the Decepticons head back to Scorponok whilst the Autobots return to Fortress.
 

Sixshot tells Zarak that his idea of getting Chromedome to duel with him has worked, and when Chromedome is destroyed, the other Headmasters will be easy to pick off. Sixshot then leaves the room and the Duocons are about to go as well, but Zarak tells them to wait. He then shows them a time bomb and tells them to plant it on asteroid Julo and set it so it will explode tomorrow when Sixshot and Chromedome are fighting each other. Not wanting to question his orders, the Duocons agree to do it.
 

Having head of what Chromedome is going to do Fortress tells him that he cannot allow it. Chromedome says he must go as he doesn't want to look like a coward and it's his chance to destroy Sixshot and get revenge for Abel, Jack and Ultra Magnus, but Fortress still won't let him saying that he has to remember that the primary mission is to stop the Decepticons from destroying the Earth. Wheelie over-hears what the two are talking about and runs off to tell Daniel that despite Fortress' warnings Chromedome won't listen and seems determined to go to this duel. Daniel doesn't want them to fight each other as he sees both of them as his friends and doesn't want them to die.
 

Daniel finds Chromedome and begs him not to fight, but Chromedome says he must. The other Autobot Headmasters then tell him not to go, or at least let them tag along as backup but Chromedome says that they'll do no such thing. Later on Pointblank tries to talk him out of going but Chromedome says that Sixshot killed all of his friends and he has to avenge them. Pointblank tells Chromedome that if he goes out on this duel, he'll be expelled from the Autobots but Chromedome just says he'd rather face exclusion then been seen as a coward.
 

Chromedome leaves the other Autobots and gains some speed in his car mode before transforming and jumping off to head to asteroid Julo. The other Headmasters want to follow him but Pointblank tells them not to go and that Chromedome has now been expelled from the Autobots for disobeying a direct order from Fortress. Fortress then tells them that Scorponok is on the move and that the entire duel scenario was just something to distract them with whilst the Decepticons go to Earth.
 

Meanwhile Wheelie finds that Daniel is about to leave the ship in an exo-suit and Daniel tells him that he is going to stop Chromedome and Sixshot from fighting each other. Wheelie tries to stop him but Daniel pushes him away and then leaves the ship, using the exo-suit's transformation mode to head to asteroid Julo. Fortress finds out about this and is in a difficult situation: if they go and get Daniel, the Decepticons will just get to Earth before they can stop them. Pointblank says he'll go and get Daniel whilst the Autobots continue to follow the Decepticons.
 

Chromedome and Sixshot arrive on Julo. Chromedome tells Sixshot that today is the day that he will avenge his friends that Sixshot has killed, but Sixshot says they'll find who is going to die soon enough.
 

The duel then starts with both combatants shooting at each other, and Chromedome manages to shoot Sixshot's gun out of his hand. Sixshot then starts to transform into his different modes and ends up hitting Chromedome with a barrage of laser blasts in his space cannon mode. 

Daniel then turns up and starts shouting, telling them not to fight each other. This distraction gives Sixshot the opportunity to punch Chromedome right in the face and as he's knocked down, Sixshot gets up and gets ready to kill Chromedome once and for all, but Daniel then stands between them begging him not to do it. Daniel then goes on saying that they're friends, although Sixshot says he's no friend of his and tells him to get out of the way, but Daniel tells him to go ahead and shoot if he must. 

Zarak's time bomb then explodes and the entire asteroid begins to crumble. Sixshot tells Chromedome that he had nothing to do with this and Zarak must have set them up. Sixshot tells Chromedome to get Daniel off the asteroid now and escape, as Zarak watches the explosions and says that Sixshot was never important to him and tells him to die. 

Sixshot is caught in an explosion just as Chromedome and Daniel escape. The entire asteroid then explodes and Pointblank thinks that he has arrived too late to save Daniel, but he then sees something coming out of the explosion and heading towards him...
 

...it's Chromedome and Daniel! They've both survived unhurt, but unfortunately Sixshot hasn't been so lucky and as the explosion dies down, Sixshot is nowhere to be seen. They return to Fortress' ship where Chromedome is pardoned for his earlier rash action and let back into the Autobots. Daniel is still concerned about Sixshot, but Chromedome tells him that he's sure Sixshot survived. And now the final battle is about to begin.

As in the previous episode, Daniel calls Sixshot "Uncle Sixshot" a few times here. Erm
