Expose The Decepticons' Dark Deception!

At the International school, Shūta and Cab are talking to two of their other friends who mention about a mysterious female fortune teller who has predicted that several great disasters will happen on Earth in the near future. The two Autobots don't really think that something like that could come true, but a few days later, several large asteroids land on the planet and destroy entire areas.

The Autobots see a report on the disasters and find out that all of the asteroids landed exactly where this mystery fortune teller woman said that they would, but for now they think that this must be just a coincidence and that they won't do anything unless she appears again. But later on Shūta finds out that she is due to make another appearance on TV and sure enough, there she is.

On the air live, the presenter says that many are surprised that her first prediction came true, but some believe that it was just a coincidence. But the fortune teller starts to speak and says that the disaster was caused by evil beings and that more disasters will happen if these evil ones are not driven away from the Earth. She then shows what one of the bad guys looks like, and must to the shock of the Autobots, it's Super Ginrai! She then says that another disaster is going to happen soon in Japan.

And within a few minutes a plane which is carrying over 400 people explodes in the air for no reason, and it's destruction is soon broadcast on the news as all of the Autobots find out about it. The Autobot Pretenders link the asteroids and the plane's destructions as being the co-operation on both Earth and space Decepticon forces, but they keep quiet when the Headmaster Jrs start to ask questions about what they mean by that. Hawk then gathers the Pretenders and Ginrai to show everyone a message from Fortress Maximus.

Fortress' message is short and distorted, but he makes out that something dangerous from the Decepticons is heading towards the Earth and that they must be cautious. Hawk then tells Ginrai that out in space they have more comrades fighting against the Decepticons, and that the space Decepticons may be the ones responsible for sending the asteroids to Earth. Ginrai says that he'll get to the bottom of this and the Pretenders should keep working on the Bomber project. Minerva then heads over to ask what they are talking about, and Ginrai says that he is taking the Headmaster Jrs back to America so they can find this fortune teller.

The fortune teller is actually Lady Mega in disguise, and that this plan was told to them by Devil Z and that whilst they do not understand why he has told them to do this, they will carry out the orders anyway. As they drive towards the next TV station, they see a crowd of people demanding the death of the robot who is causing all these terrible things to happen, which pleases the three Decepticons.

Ginrai and the others arrive in America and try to find out more about this fortune teller by ringing the TV studio where she appeared, but they say that she has already gone and that they can't tell him any more information since they don't really know who she is either. She then appears on another TV channel again and says that a water-related disaster will now happen soon, and the Decepticon Pretenders use this signal to attack a dam wall.

Even their combined fire power has trouble breaking through the wall, but then Giga shouts out for them to stop and let him deal with this, as he gets into a large tank and destroys the wall with one shot, sending a lot of water down below which kills a farmer and all of his cattle, and then the water starts to destroy nearby towns.

Ginrai tells the Headmaster Jrs to head towards the disaster zone and rescue as many people as possible, and that he'll go to the TV station quickly to try and find the fortune teller. The fortune teller gets into a car which heads off, but Ginrai sees it and gives chase, as they head across a motorway. Buster sees him and Mega quickly thinks up a plan to get rid of Ginrai, and they drop Hydra off and then continue with Ginrai still following them.

The Autobot Headmaster Jrs have completed what rescues they can and have saved a bunch of people, who ask them if they are going to fight the evil robot the fortune teller was on about. They explain that Super Ginrai isn't an evil being, but these people they show what idiots they are by revealing that they have no idea what a Decepticon is. They then see a few helicopters moving an asteroid, and the towns fold say that it's being moved to State park for a scientific study. And at State park, Ginrai comes across the Decepticon Pretenders.

As the asteroid is bought in, a TV crew is there to film the study as a class of children are watching from an observation tower. But the Decepticons have gotten back together and with the TV crew being here, it's the perfect opportunity for them to dispose of Ginrai once and for all. Hydra and Buster are sent in to cause more explosions in the forest nearby, which gets the attention of everyone near the asteroid.

Mega then puts back on her fortune teller disguise and gets to the top of the asteroid, saying that the explosions they can see in the forest are being caused by the evil being. Ginrai then gets blasted out into the open and everyone believes that he is the terrible evil they must get rid of, but he says that it's that woman who is the real cause behind this, as the Decepticon Pretenders resume their attack along with Hydra and Buster, as the TV crew start filming them all and think that all of the robots are on the same side.

The other Autobots then arrive to help Ginrai out and take on the Decepticon Pretenders as Ginrai sees off Hydra and Buster with a blast of Chichokon power. Mega sees that all of her allies have failed her so she decides to finish things herself, and summing up all of her energy, she moves the asteroid and sends it toward the observation tower. Super Ginrai stops it though and tries to push it back so it can't knock down the tower.

Since the robot is trying to save them, the children realise that he cannot be evil and that the fortune teller is the real bad guy in this, so they all start to throw rocks at her. This distracts Mega and gives Super Ginrai the chance to quickly get under the asteroid and hurl it away from the tower, and as it lands Mega discards her disguise and leaps into a jet and heads away as the other Decepticons follow her.

With the children all saved, all of the people see that Super Ginrai is not evil and that the fortune teller was actually a Decepticon, who had deceived them all. Super Ginrai points out to the others that it was thanks to the help of the Decepticons in space that their plan on Earth nearly worked, as the narrator takes over by asking what could the space Decepticons really be up to?

Giga and Mega now have suits of armour and vehicles. You can either add two and two together now or just wait until the next episode.

Now, you'd think people would know what an Autobot is by now, but nearly everyone in the episode is fooled into thinking that they are evil. This is because that this series is essentially a fresh start, with hardly any characters from a previous series returning, but it's still set in the same universe and really, people should fully know who the Autobots are as they've saved the planet on many occasions. And even then, back in "Friend or Foe!? The True Form of the Nonster!!" a news crew reported on a battle between the Autobots and Decepticons, so again, people should know that Autobots are good.

There is some more footage from The Headmaster's first intro sequence used in this episode, when Hawk says about their being more Autobots fighting in space.

This episode also marks the only proper appearance of Fortress Maximus, and it's also the last time a character from a previous series appears in Masterforce.
