Ginrai: God-On of Rage!
With the news of a strange island appearing out of nowhere, a military plane is sent to investigate to find out more and it is soon around the area where this mystery island is meant to be. The two guys piloting the plane come across the island, but as they are getting closer they are unaware that Giga, Mega and the Godmaster brothers have seen them and nothing is going to get in the way of Giga playing golf.
And with a mighty swing, his golf ball destroys the plane completely, and the others congratulate him on his splendid shot as Mega says that it's all over when the "death ball" gets them. They head inside to get more serious as they are outraged that the Autobots have a Godmaster now, and Hydra and Buster say that will head out to destroy the new Autobot warrior outright.

Ginrai has gone back to Diver's ocean research institute and meets Lander for the first time, and is quite impressed by his transformation from car to robot. They go inside and Lander shows Ginrai a book which has cut outs from newspapers about the Decepticons and that their attacks are on the increase. He wants Ginrai to join them in fighting their enemies.
But Ginrai talks about charging huge amounts for the rights for his appearances on TV with his mecha, which Lander is surprised by, only to be told that he's just kidding about it and he heads outside to help Diver feed some fish. Lander also heads outside and again talks to Ginrai about joining the Autobots and saving the world, but...
"Wait! wait, wait wait! Oh wait, just a minute please!"
Ginrai says that he'll just fight these other guys when they appear and that he's still got a job to do right now, and then heads off. Diver and Lander can only hope to get him to join the Autobots if they keep pestering him, and contact Hawk about it, who then goes off to Cab's
tree house to inform the kids that they should be getting a new team mate, who is as powerful as the Decepticon Godmasters, if they can get him to join.

And the narrator then chips in saying that something terrible is about to happen as we see a blue truck on the road, only for a large plane to fly over it. As the drivers shout abuse, the plane, who is none other than Buster, turns around and shoots off one of those death balls seen earlier, which blows the truck up completely.

Ginrai stops off at a gas station where another trucker he knows who also works for the same company he does pulls up. His name is Billy and he's almost finished for the day, and Ginrai tells him that he'll be done a little later on so they plan to meet up to have some drinks, and Ginrai decides not to tell his friend about his incredible truck. Billy meanwhile heads off to complete his last drop off of the day.
But he doesn't get very far until a much larger truck comes up from behind and starts to chase after him, and as Billy makes his truck go faster, the other one matches his speed and then goes beyond it, ramming into his trailer. It pushes him towards a railway line where a train goes past, and Billy tries the brakes but can't stop and ends up getting killed when his truck
over jumps and explodes. The other trucker is driven by
Hydra, who says something typical Decepticon.
As Ginrai heads to the bar where he was suppose to meet Billy, he's surprised that he is here first but goes in anyway only to be shocked when he finds out on the news that his friend is dead, and several other truckers have also been killed recently. The news broadcast is also seen by Diver and Hawk who realise from the report that the Hydra and Buster are destroying trucks in an attempt to destroy Ginrai, so they must go to help him. Lander also contacts Hawk who says that he'll go and bring Phoenix along with him.
Diver and Lander find the bar where Ginrai goes to but are told that he has already left in his truck, so Lander changes and then transforms into his car mode to give Diver a ride as they continue to look for him. Ginrai meanwhile has rented out a room at a motel and is thinking about why his friends are being killed when he gets it - the Decepticons are mistaking their trucks for his and killing them even though they aren't the right ones. Ginrai decides to go back out in his truck and is soon back on the road.
The next day, Ginrai is still out on the road and wants the Decepticons to find him so he can fight them, and his wish is granted when that huge truck returns and chases him through canyon roads, and nearly knocks him down a cliff. Ginrai gets far enough in front and then turns his truck around to ram into the larger truck, as Hydra is pleased to know that he has finally found the Autobot Godmaster.
Ginrai goes full speed at the other truck, but then Buster arrives and fires off another death ball which sends the trailer over the edge, taking the truck with it as they both drop down a short distance. Thankfully Ginrai isn't badly injured this time and crawls out just as Lander and Diver arrive at the scene. Buster tells Hydra to go and kill Ginrai whilst he deals with the Pretenders.
With the two experienced Autobots having their hands full fighting Buster, it's up to Ginrai to deal with Hydra and he uses the power of the masterforce to merge with his truck, as Hydra says that he's finally found the will to fight. Ginrai goes straight for him with lots of punches but they all miss as Hydra laughs and calls him an amateur.
He then throws Ginrai into part of the rockface, but that picture of Ginrai's friends falls down and the sun hits it, sending a bright beam of light straight into his face and blinding him for a few seconds. Ginrai uses this opportunity to ram into him, push him all the way back to another wall and then start punching him in the face a lot as he avenges his friends.
Buster goes in to save his brother by firing death balls at Ginrai, and as they explode the two of them get away, but they also failed to kill Ginrai. As they leave, Metalhawk and Phoenix show up, as do the Autobot Headmaster Jrs, as they all want to meet their new
team-mate.
Hawk asks Ginrai to join them, but Ginrai says that he is kind of down now and that whilst he will never forgive the Decepticons, he still says that he will think about joining the Autobots rather than accepting here and now. As the others ponder over his indecision, he walks back to his truck as the narrator says that one day, Ginrai's fiery rage will get rid of the Decepticons forever.
When Lander shows Ginrai the book with the newspaper cuttings...
At the top right of the left page it clearly says "Decepticons", the English name for the evil Transformers, as well as saying Destrons, the Japanese name, on the other page.
When Ginrai goes into that wacky pose, he talks and moves as if he were in a Kabuki play, which explains which that strange ornate background appears.
