Explosion!! The Energy Base

For once, the Decepticons have hidden themselves from the Autobots and have the Thunder Arrow parked in a jungle. The Dinoforce are busy loading up the ship with energon from a warehouse and inside Leozack says how great he is and how much energy they have gotten. Deszaras tells him not to think so much of himself just yet as they need a much larger amount of energy to release his fortress from the dark nebula, where Star Saber sealed it away years a go.
 

Deszaras goes on to say that they haven't got time to waste as Leozack says that Deszaras will soon rule all once he has the energy he needs. Deszaras says that if he understands everything so well, then he should go and do it instead of talking, and with that his throne lowers into the ship leaving Leozack alone in the room.
 

At the Shuttle base, the Autobots have found out about where the Decepticons are after Dashtacker and Machtackle saw the Thunder Arrow landing in the jungle, and also found out about what they are doing with the energy. With such a large scale operation happening it would be disastrous if the Decepticon energy base exploded as all of South America could be blown clean off the map. Star Saber sends out Blacker and the Multiforce out to go and investigate, although Wingwaver isn't that happy when Blacker calls him "kid".
 

The Autobot team gets a lift to the jungle via Galaxy Shuttle, who drops them off and heads back to base. Blacker tells Dashtacker and Machtackle to transform and clear a path towards a river that they can use to get close to the Decepticon base without being detected, and then tells Wingwaver to be careful as there are surely going to be Decepticon patrols around.
 

Wingwaver is fed up, as he's supposed to be the leader of the Multiforce, not Blacker, and has had enough of Blacker telling him what to do. In frustration, he smacks the nearest tree with his gun, but the noise this makes causes a flock of birds to leave the trees, and Yokuryu sees the commotion. Wondering why the birds are flying off he sets parts of the jungle on fire.
 

As parts of the jungle are ablaze, Blacker and Wingwaver head towards the river themselves to find the other two Autobots. Meanwhile Yokuryu decides to go back and tell Goryu about what's going on, and the Dinoforce and Leozack move out to find and destroy any Autobots, if there are any. Back with Blacker's team the group are getting out of the water when they see that Dashtacker is missing.
 

Dashtacker is stuck in the mud and so Blacker goes in and gets him out, but the Decepticons see him and start firing. The Autobots head back into the jungle and try to contact Star Saber at the Shuttle base but they can't get through as the Decepticons have jammed their frequencies. Blacker tells the Multiforce to get out of here and back to Autobot HQ to inform Star Saber as he distracts the Decepticons.
 

As day turns to night the Dinoforce are still tearing through the jungle after Blacker. Meanwhile the Multiforce escape out to the open and see that Galaxy Shuttle isn't that far away from them now, but Wingwaver has other plans -he tells Machtackle and Dashtacker to go back and tell Star Saber what's going on as he heads back to help Blacker. They try to stop Wingwaver from doing this but they can't as he heads back the way he came.
 

Blacker is about to be destroyed by Goryu when Wingwaver dashes in and promptly beats up the Decepticons before they get a chance to do the deed. The last thing Goryu sees of the Autobots is them running off into another part of the jungle, so he and the rest of the Dinoforce give chase.
 

Dashtacker and Machtackle make it back to Galaxy Shuttle, who blasts off. They contact Star Saber who is already flying towards the jungle and tell him what has been going on, and he tells them to head back to the shuttle base whilst he goes in to help out Blacker and Wingwaver. In the jungle, Blacker has been moving away from the base on purpose as he and Wingwaver fight the Dinoforce. Star Saber transforms and lands and realise the Blacker has been moving away on purpose so the base in unguarded, giving Star Saber a clear shot at destroying it.
 

Inside the Thunder Arrow Leozack is laughing at the Autobots, but Deszaras is onto their scheme, and tells Leozack that it's odd that one Brainmaster robot, who is much more advanced than any of the Dinoforce, is taking so long in beating them. This then clicks with Leozack who goes outside to find Star Saber approaching and the two fight each other.
 

Deszaras then blasts off in the Thunder Arrow and tells Leozack to destroy the base and any remaining energy in it as the explosion will fry Star Saber, but the second in command doesn't get a chance as Star Saber keeps shooting at him. Star Saber then transforms and uses the V-Star to engage Leozack in an air battle, and cuts Leozack's right wing. Leozack tries to shoot Star Saber in robot mode but fails and eventually retreats.
 

Later on Star Saber tells Blacker that it isn't like him to make such a big mistake, and asks what the reason was for him to do it, only for him to reply with "it was because of my carelessness". Star Saber says that if that's his reason then he'll believe it and also tells him to stop calling Wingwaver "kid" although Blacker says it just a habit. Wingwaver still isn't happy. And then Galaxy Shuttle arrives to take everyone home.

This episode is the first to show us why Deszaras wants so much energy - he wants to release his fortress from the "Dark Nebula". We get to see part of the fortress in the episode, but not all of it so it doesn't ruin the surprise. We will get a much better look at it later on in the series, and how it was put in the nebula in the first place.

And can I just say how incredibly stupid it is for Galaxy Shuttle to just be waiting around in shuttle mode in the jungle where every Decepticon and his Mum could see it? I mean this image, in particular.
