The Tide is Turned! The Ultimate Weapon, the Victory Unification
| |
The Multiforce and Rescue team have been sent out by Star Saber to some location in eastern India, as Deszaras has revealed that he is going to do something there. And sure enough, the Autobots see a large missile heading down towards them, so they make sure there are no humans near to where it's going to land and then watch it explode. But this is a new type of missile, as when the main explosion occurs, four new missiles take off!

There's then the worst scene in
Transformers ever.
The new missile hit different areas causing mass destruction to cities. As Star Saber and the other Brainmasters observe the damage from Shuttle base, the Multiforce and Rescue team are sent out to start helping any people they can. But Star Saber also has another objective for them: they must not fight against any Decepticons they see no matter what.
The reason for this is revealed when Star Saber plays back a video sent to him from the Decepticons. The video is of Deszaras, who tells the Autobots about the new missile they have and that if the Autobots don't leave them alone to plunder energy from the Earth, he'll keep launching more. The first missile was just a test to prove that he wasn't bluffing, and to raise the stakes, the missile launcher in space has a device which can detect when Star Saber is approaching and will automatically start to launch missiles. The tape then ends and the Autobots can only wonder what to do next.
With their plan in place, the Decepticons already starting to take energy, choosing to steal from an oil refinery in Pakistan to start things off. Leozack doesn't really approve of this plan as he'd rather just be crushing the Autobots rather than using cowardly tactics against them as Kakuryu drops a load of energon but Goryu manages to catch it.

The Autobots find out about what the Decepticons are up to but then find out that Victory Leo is also on patrol in that area, and he doesn't know about Deszaras' plot. Blacker, Laster and Braver head out to warn him but he's already started to fight the enemy who are about to contact Deszaras to launch the missiles until the other Autobots show up and stop Victory Leo from fighting.

Star Saber knows that Deszaras' missile machine has data on how fast he can go and that he'll never be able to get close to it before it starts to launch missiles at the Earth... unless he somehow increases his speed. And to do that, he must combine with Victory Leo. He goes off to see Perceptor and the other medics, but he isn't to happy with the idea as if something were to go wrong, they could lose Star Saber forever. Despite his warnings, Star Saber says he must do this and heads off.

As Star Saber leaves to find Victory Leo, Perceptor says that he's one of the most stubborn Autobots that he's ever met, but also says that he has the most amount of spirit. Minerva then asks to whether or not Star Saber will succeed in uniting with Victory Leo, and Perceptor is sure that he will as he has the determination to do so.

Wingwaver, Pipo, Holi and Jan are heading towards another area which got hit by a missile but find Jaruga, Gaihawk and Killbison stealing energy, who begin to mock them. They want help in carrying the energy but all the Autobots can do is ignore them and go on past to begin rescue operations, which the Decepticons find very amusing. Meanwhile the Dinoforce are still hard at work creating energy at the oil refinery.

Victory Leo is getting more and more angry as the Decepticons mock him and the other Autobots, until Star Saber shows up. Thinking that now he is here they must be allowed to fight, the Autobot leader stops him from attacking Leozack and says that their true opponent lies in outer space. After being convinced that they must protect people as well as destroy Decepticons, Victory Leo agrees to help.
And to do this they both transform into their space fighter modes and then unit. As they head off into outer space, Leozack gets Kakuryu to contacts Deszaras, who isn't bothered that Star Saber is on the way as he knows that he won't be able to get there before the missiles go off. What Deszaras doesn't realises however is that now Star Saber has united with Victory Leo, he is much faster then before.
However, Deszaras then notices that at the rate he is going, Star Saber is going to reach the missile launcher before the missiles actually launch, and so heads out into space to stop him. Before he can get to him though he transforms again, revealing Victory Saber, who doesn't have time to fight Deszaras and blasts him with his massive shoulder cannons.
Deszaras' lag tactics seemed to have worked as now there are only a few seconds until the missiles start to launch, but Victory Saber isn't about to give up yet and shows how powerful he is by shooting the Decepticon leader and sending him spinning uncontrollably into space.

The missile launcher is the next thing to go and is soon destroyed by Victory Saber. As the news of this reaches the Autobots on Earth, the narrator ends things by saying that the first unification of Star Saber and Victory Leo has been a huge success and that now the Decepticons must surely be trembling in fear of his might.
Minerva actually speaks in this episode, making her one of only two characters from Masterforce who appear and speak in Victory. With God Ginrai being the other one, obviously.
