Early Footage

I’ve yet to find many early screenshots of the game, but I suppose that’s normal. I mean, it’s a decade old arcade game, I don’t think they advertise those in magazines. At least, they don’t over here.

This came from an arcade flyer for the game. The only difference is the inclusion of a box on that platform closest to the hut. In the game, there’s a soldier and an explosive barrel there, but for all I know in the scan Marco could’ve killed the soldier by the time the screenshot was taken and the barrel could be behind the box.

[UPDATE] I'm an idiot. I missed the "000" in the ammunition window, while it should show an infinity symbol. Thanks to Enomosiki for pointing this out!

This came from a foreign magazine preview/review. From the looks of things, the demo of Mission 5 was once very different, as Marco has blown up a soldier with a grenade (which he does before this part), the car he's on is in the process of crumbling, there's a dead soldier behind him (he does kill a soldier before he goes on the car and the soldier in the same animation, but he moves away from the window and would be out of view by then), the window ledge above him is destroyed (he leaves intact in the final), and a few other differences I may not have got. Crazy.

[UPDATE] Enomosiki informs me that the different screenshot is from the PlayStation version, hence the boxers hanging on the ledge, and thus making my rambling utterly pointless.

Galvatron supplies this scan from the Saturn port's manual, featuring a larger amount of paratroopers than usual and, strangely, two aquatic mines instead of an electricity pylon; however, there seems to be electricity coming out of them, featuring a different stream than the pylons, which is odd.. That prisoner may or may not exist there in the game, what with the highly randomised prisoner location patterns this instalment has.

===CLICK FOR BIG===

More Saturn scans that feature 000 ammunition, and that Mission 4 screenshot may feature a slightly different background, but I can't be certain.
